Head of Jakarta Health Department, Dien Emmawati disclosed that those hospitals will be focused on service-based NICU-PICU in order to prevent the death of children in the capital city. "This year, we will build three pediatric hospitals and will add more NICU-PICU facilities," he stated, Friday (5/16).
She said that the project is still in planning process, thus she has not been able to explain in detail where and what kind of hospital is. Besides lacking of NICU-PICU facilities, another problem also lies in lack of fund for Jakarta Health Card (KJS) which contains service standards for treatment to the hospital. She admitted such facilities are rarely found in hospital and expensive.
Treatment Facilities in Hospitals to Be Added Next Year"Private hospitals assessed the Social Security Management Agency (BPJS) tariff is still low. That's why they often reject the BPJS users," he exclaimed.
